Documentation

Learn how to make the most of MemberVana with our in-depth documentation below. For ease of use, we use the following terminology throughout, and we include it at the bottom of all documentation:

Organization – That’s you. Whether you’re a Bar Association, Chamber, or other Special Interest Group.
Contact – Someone in your emailing list. It also includes your Members and Users.
Member – In most Organizations, this is a person who pays dues to be a Member of your group.
Company – If your organization is setup with company memberships, this is a Company Member. Members with access underneath the Company Membership are referred to as Employees or Company Employees.
Subscription – This is a repeating term—usually one year—after which Members will need to renew their subscription or membership to your organization.
Product – Something that is sold through your store. It also includes subscriptions, donations, and event tickets.
Customer – Someone who purchases something in your store. Members are also considered customers if they buy a membership to your organization.
User or Organization User – A member of your organization who has access to one or more areas of the membership management system or website.
